Why do we do Bible Studies?

Bible Studies are an incredibly important part of MAC Youth. As Christians we are committed to becoming more and more like Jesus! We know this won’t happen accidentally. So, part of MAC Youth is meeting in smaller age and gender groups, opening the Bible together, and unpacking what it has to say and how it applies to us today.

What are Bible Studies?

There are two main aspects of our Bible Studies:
1) We become students of the Bible.
The Bible is a complex and at times confusing book. At MAC Youth we believe the Bible is the Word of God and so it is vital that we spend time reading it, asking questions of it and exploring all that it has to say about God and about life.
2) We enjoy friendships with one another.
These groups are safe and comfortable spaces for our young people to hang out, and form new friendships or strengthen present ones.

Who are they for?

Each group is guided by two of our MAC Youth Leaders.
At MAC Youth we have the following Bible Studies:
  • Year 9 boys
  • Year 9 girls
  • Year 10 boys
  • Year 10 girls
  • Year 11 boys
  • Year 11 girls
  • Yr 12 boys
  • Yr 12 girls
If you would like to know more information about a specific group, please contact Connor at connor@menaianglican.org.

Which Bible translation do you use?

At MAC Youth, we use the New International Version (NIV) translation of the Bible.
